2.Service Deployment/Activation Time :
Shared Web Hosting is activated instantly.VPS/Virtual Private Server is activated with 24hour of payment .Dedicated Server is activated within 24-48hours of payment.After successful payment you will receive an automated receipt from our billing system. You are responsible for keeping this in a safe place for future reference. Information regarding your service will be sent to the email specified in your OpticHost account.
3.SLA :
Best effort .
Uptime : 99% .
We offer un-managed/self-manage services .
4.Data Backup :
At the moment we are NOT providing any DATA BACKUP guarantee .
Once The VPS/Web Hosting Service has been Terminated , its not possible to retrieve the data/files back
Client is responsible for their data .
5.Not Allowed :
The following are strictly prohibited uses and may result in immediate suspension and/or termination if discovered on your account:
Denial of Service (DoS) attacks
Port scanning
TOR
Illegal downloads/Piracy
Nulled Scripts
Copyright content
Mining
Mail servers which mark as Spamming
Mass eMailing
Any eMailing
Spam
Disk IO Abuse
Port Scanners
Gambling Sites
Lottery Sites
File Hosting Sites
Hacking community websites or any website promoting the act of hacking or phishing
Banner-Ad Services
Pirated Software
Programs with the ability to launch DDoS attacks such as variations of LOIC or HOIC
Warez or Warez Linking
Botnet Controller
Scamming or Fake Websites
6.Bandwidth allocation :
If you have used up the bandwidth allocation which was provided with the service , you would need to wait till the end of billing cycle for the bandwidth allocation can be reset . You can also buy additional bandwidth allocation , please open ticket.
7.IP :
We do not change , replace or swap IP for free. Once VPS/Service is deployed with specific IP , that IP will remain with the VPS till the end of billing term . rDNS is not available.
Additional IP is not available with VPS Product.
8.Billing :
Chargebacks/disputes against payments will result in immediate suspension of the service. If the dispute is not removed within 24 hours of suspension, the service will be terminated and you will not be entitled to or receive any compensation or any refund from us.
We will also provide necessary details (email logs/user information) over to the payment gateway if we have to for counter-attack against false dispute.
9.Money Back / Refund Policy:
Shared Web Hosting services carry a 3 days satisfaction guarantee. To cancel your hosting services and receive a refund, you must contact us within 3 days from the effective date of the particular services you wish to cancel. Only newly purchased hosting fees are refundable. Set up, domain name registration, SSL Certificate,License, dedicated IP, renewal payment, got suspended by abuses with the resource, and other one-time fees are not refundable. VPS and Dedicated Server service are non-refundable .
Refund is not granted for any "Special Offer" category orders.
10.Subject to Manual Verification :
If your account is subject to manual verification , you would need to provide us requested documents , no exceptions . Failed to do so will result in all service termination and a service charge might be applied .
11.Support :
We do not offer 24x7 support . If you open ticket expect it to be answered with in 1 working day (Normally less then 1-4hours) .
Breaches of these terms and conditions :
Without prejudice to our other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these terms and conditions in any way, "We","OpticHost" may take such action as we deem suitable to deal with the breach, including prohibiting you from accessing the website, suspending your access to the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.
